Anotace:	The countries of the Western Balkans (Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, former Yugoslav Republic ofMacedonia, Serbia and Montenegro including Kosovo)have endorsed the European Charter for Small Enterprisesat the European Union-Western Balkans summitof Thessaloniki (Greece) on 21 June 2003. This 2004 report, which was based on eight nationalreports of the participating countries or entities (Kosovoand Montenegro have a separate input in this process)has also allowed a total of 41 specific targets to be setand announced. The current 2005 report will takestock of progress made in improving the small businessenvironment in the countries concerned, set newtargets and look at the degree to which the previoustargets were achieved over the last twelve months.
